Mental Health Benefits of Spirituality
Spirituality is a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves—it helps a person look within and understand themselves while also figuring out the greater answer of how they fit in to the rest of the world. In other words: It helps people understand their interpretation of the meaning of life.
Spirituality also incorporates healthy practices for the mind and body, which positively influences mental health and emotional wellbeing. Here are some of those benefits:
Individuality
Enhances a person’s sense of self and empowerment through the choice to decide what their practice looks like
Focuses on an individual’s connection to what they believe in and their own personal growth
Accepts any person, whether they are part of a religion or not
Mindfulness
Encourages meditation and self-reflection
Leads to a meaningful life philosophy (i.e. feeling connected to others, nature or art)
Prompts expression in any form such as art, poetry, myth or religious practice
Unity with Surroundings
Renews a sense of belonging in the world
Inspires appreciation and awareness of a person’s interaction with the physical environment
People take advantage of people who believe in faith.
People will let you down but faith in something over humans.

The end of society as a result of Narcasism.
collaboration is collapsing. Everyone has become
individualistic. Narcasism is becoming a religion.
Old religion doesn't fit modern times. Because religoun has
hierarchy and society where everyone believes they are experts
and hate authority.
I believe in Jesus Christ. For some reason
when I was a child and I went to church I began to cry
maybe because of what the preist was saying. I get a sense of
calmness when i go into a church.
I feel like I can pray and not have to
explain what it is. The Lord already knows. Can't BS.
I feel like there is a force outside of me thats like
a watcher. Walking blindly.
Theres a passage where it states if you ask
God for help to get out of a temptatin situation
he will alway give you a way out. It will make it apparent.
I personally feel like there is good knowledge
proverbs and psalms and they are short and simple.
Eclysiastes is a good story about what matters in life.
Mybe i like tradition because it is a known path.
Less room for error. When i did things that went against
the rules I hurt alot. It is not worth.
There has been times where I feel like I have been talked to in certain situations when
im in a moral moment.
There was a time I started watching The Shepards Chapel
and studying the bible wih the pastor arnold murrey and
listening to the Q A. which broke down modern
questions and was able to give it a biblical answer.
And I was those types that would post scriptures on facebook all
the time where people probably got annoyed. Now that i stop watching
I cannot remembe any passages. Knowing the Bible is a constant
thing to keep retention.
Sometimes I feel like there is somebody beside me. I don't know
if its a neurological thing or not.
If you lived in an area like China where you are constantly monitored and cameras on you.
would you do bad things all the time? In a way it might feel like that
with God.
I feel I am where i am in life because of
the mercy of others and "Gods Plan".
maybe in clinical arenas it might be a cop out.
Not being totaly religious with going to church but someone can get involved
with a church and have a sense of structure andbe social when it comes to
working for a church. If your unemployed or getting assistance you can still be
useful in soiety with church. Or religion in general.
Jordan Peterson says life is suffering. And because of that
you become sinical and venchful. It is a bottomless pit.
We get an idea of where others mindset is by the
religion they follow.
brains are wired to make predictions due to
past experiences.

There are studies that show people in religion
are healthier and happier because they are with people
with similar beliefs.
It reduces stress because of uncertainty.
Humans need to impose meanings to emotions and suffering and loss.
